Personal Statement:

In every divorce case or couple that comes to me, my goals are to help protect the family as a whole regardless of the separation, I believe that even though parents choose to live separate lives they are capable of maintaining a civil relationship and putting their children’s needs over their own. The benefits to mediate rather than litigate are enormous, not only at the present time of the divorce process but for years to come in the evolution of the family. The outcome when mediation is the preferred choice is a communicative one. Since the divorce never became bitter but rather both spouses had the opportunity to negotiate and be treated fairly neither one holds resentment. This is the key to an ongoing, functioning relationship which benefits their children for years after. I treat every family uniquely, because I know that each family has their own personal needs and stories. It is my job to meet the needs of each member of the family and help set them in the right direction so they can continue to move forward finding fulfillment and satisfaction in their own lives as well as be there for each other.

Personal Statement:

When I look back at my personal experiences related to divorce, it pains me to see people spend so much time and effort in divorce litigation. On a daily basis this motivates me to reach out and help everyone I can, by reducing their pain, cost and time when going through the process of divorce and more importantly the time after divorce. When I went through a divorce with a mediator, the process was extremely quick and painless. However, it was not until after the divorce that I had most of my pain in regards to parental alienation and other similar family issues. It is this reason that each and every time I approach a case I have this experience in mind and work to alleviate future pain for every one of my clients.
